About the Store

Our family has owned the "Penny Candy Store" since the 1970's. The little red store had very humble beginnings in the 1840's as a storage barn for cranberries. By 1856 the building had evolved into a general merchandise store and today, we still serve the community by being the local Mom & Pop store for newspapers, candy, and gifts. There is no need to get in your car and drive "into town", just take a beautiful walk down Main Street, Centerville, if you find yourself with a sweet tooth or needing to purchase a birthday present or hostess gift!
We are happy to now be able to offer our wares over the internet. We are continually adding to our website, so please check back often to see the new merchandise. Telephone and email inquiries are most welcome. We love to hear from our customers!
